We are moving to a new site
AEI Compounds is moving to a new 90,000 square feet facility in Sandwich, Kent. The new site will support all activities including manufacturing, R&D and administration. A new manufacturing plant will also be installed and will be operational from mid August 2009, giving an additional 6,000mt of capacity for wire and cable compounds.The Sandwich factory is approximately 55 miles east of the Gravesend facility and is a purpose built compounding unit which will adequately support the future growth plans of the business. The majority of the current staff will be transferring to the new site during the remainder of 2009 and the Gravesend site will be completely vacated by February 2010.
This move represents a significant investment in the future of the company and reinforces its commitment to continue leading in the design, innovation and efficient manufacturing of its range of technically advanced polymer compounds.
