Low voltage cables typically cover those that are required to operate up to 1000 volts and can cover a wide range of power distribution and industrial types.
For 30 years we have been a major supplier to the power distribution market with unfilled XLPE and for the last two decades we have been at the forefront of halogen free flame retardant (HFFR) building wire technology. We continue to develop products in these areas with concentration on higher fire retardancy and increased flexibility.
Low voltage industrial applications include those for rolling stock, railway and underground systems, marine and offshore, mining and tunnelling, plant and petrochemical, wind farms, solar power and the nuclear industry. Our silane crosslinkable products, by nature of their chemistry, have the elevated temperature resistance required by many of these applications. New additions to our range include HFFR compounds with excellent oil resistance and UV resistance.
